Coach Hodgkinson has been running cross country since she was 6 years old. She started her XC career as a member of the Howard County Junior Striders Association of Maryland, where she went on to set course records and win awards for her age group. In 2005, her family moved to Hanover, PA, where she set the middle school cross country record. In high school, Coach Hodgkinson was a triple varsity athlete, participating in Cross Country, Basketball, and Track & Field. She ran cross country until she graduated high school. Coach Hodgkinson went on to play basketball in college until she transferred to Millersville University of Pennsylvania. In May 2016 she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Broadcasting and moved down to Port Saint Lucie where she currently resides. She works as a graphic designer for Coast 101.3 and as a Media and Design Assistant for Burt Design.
