Fundraising

So I've mentioned this at practice before but we need to start thinking about how we are going to raise money in order to go on these trips to UF and Disney. If we don't sell banners for the football field ($300 a piece and we profit $225), and if we don't do car washes, or ask companies to sponsor our team, then we won't afford to go to UF and Disney and will need to cancel the meets. We obviously do not want to cancel those meets or any meets for that matter. We have an awesome schedule set up for this season, and I would hate for any of those meets to be cancelled because the team neglected to raise the money.

So more information about selling banners will be talked about on Saturday and if you have questions that I nor Coach Williams can answer, you can talk to the Athletic Secretary with me or Coach Williams to get your question answered correctly.

Please come to practice on Saturday with ideas on what we can do to fundraise money! We will be practicing at 9am and go to 10-10:30am Saturday depending on how quickly we can get done our workout.

I understand Open House for upper classman is on Saturday as well. But not to fear its from 8:30-2:30 so after practice you are more than welcome to go into the school and grab your schedules from your counselors.

One other announcement- With school beginning on Monday, no student or coach may park where we have been parking. On Saturday you may park in the Teacher parking lot (where the tennis courts are). You may, however, be picked up right outside the gym, just no parking.
